Numerous “open educational resources” initiatives in the Arab world have been overlooking the role of the student in producing and spreading open educational resources; along with the lack of proper training on how to use them in order to develop self-learning practices for a lifelong valuable learning methods. Guiding strategies issued by the UNESCO's initiatives regarding the open educational resources promoted the role of students. As a result, the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education at the Founders University has been supporting the role of students at promoting open educational resources use, and provides a set of educational resources to help them do that through this page.
